QUERION Research · Build & Publish
Super is a publishing layer that turns Notion content into a branded website. Notion remains the content management system; Super handles the delivery layer, including site design, domains, navigation and SEO settings. Super states that it creates cached static versions of Notion pages to improve speed and resilience.
What is Super?
Super is designed for people and teams that want to keep writing and managing content in Notion while presenting that content as a more conventional public website. The core proposition is deliberately narrow: keep Notion as the source of truth and add a website-specific presentation and delivery layer on top.
How the product works
Content originates in Notion. Super then converts those pages into optimized web pages and provides controls for appearance, custom domains, navigation and SEO. This separation between content creation and web delivery is central to the product.
Current public pricing
At the time of this review, Super publicly lists a free plan, a Personal plan at $12 per site per month when billed yearly, and a Pro plan at $22 per site per month when billed yearly. Personal adds features such as a custom domain, custom code, custom fonts, password protection and removal of Super branding. Pro adds manual publishing controls, advanced search, file uploads, redirects, hidden pages, multilingual support and priority support.
Pricing can change. Verify current pricing with the provider before making a decision.
What the market signal tells us
The existence of a dedicated paid layer between Notion and a public website is itself a useful market signal: some users value keeping Notion as their CMS while paying separately for presentation, performance, domain control and website-specific functionality. The category also faces an important structural pressure: Notion now offers its own website-publishing capabilities, while alternative third-party and open-source approaches compete on cost, control and specialization.
Public strengths
- Simple workflow: users can continue managing content in Notion rather than adopting a separate CMS.
- Website-specific delivery: Super adds branding, domains, navigation and SEO controls around Notion content.
- Performance approach: Super describes a cached/static delivery model rather than simply serving the original Notion page directly.
- Clear upgrade path: free, Personal and Pro tiers separate basic publishing from more advanced site controls.
Questions worth examining
A prospective builder or operator should look beyond feature parity. The more important questions are how defensible a third-party Notion publishing layer remains as Notion expands its native site capabilities; how pricing behaves for users managing multiple sites; how much portability customers expect; and which workflows remain underserved by general-purpose publishing products.
QUERION public assessment
Super demonstrates validated demand for turning workspace content into a more polished public website without forcing users to abandon their existing content workflow. That does not automatically mean that cloning Super is an attractive opportunity. The investable question is whether there is a sufficiently differentiated problem that can be solved better, more simply or with stronger economics.
QUERION deliberately keeps its proprietary opportunity score, detailed execution gaps, feasibility assessment, risk analysis and final opportunity thesis outside this public research note.
